We as a group have worked on a variety of different projects involving a great variety

of skills. It is flexible enough that if any one has a particular craft skill they can do that with us but in the

company of a very sociable and friendly group. New members welcome!

SOLOS SATURDAY LUNCH GROUP-Update


The Solos Saturday Lunch Group is now open to SINGLES, DIVORCED, WIDOWED and anyone who has a partner who is unwell or simply does not want to socialise this way. Singles Christmas Lunch

25 Phoenix members really enjoyed their Saturday Singles Christmas Lunch at The Moat House on Dec 10th. We had the Trussell Suite to ourselves complete with a roaring log fire, Christmas crackers, an excellent Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and even celebrated one of the diner’s birthdays. It was so good we instantly rebooked the venue for next Christmas.

NEW Military History Group

The group will meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month in the Bromage Room from 12th. November.

We arrange for speakers to talk about military history from all periods. Attendees are invited to bring along memorabilia.

Our NEW singing group meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10.30 am -12 noon in the Bromage Room at Walton Village Hall.

Fee £1.50

The next 4 meetings will be on 18th January, 15th February, 15th March, 19th April

We sing a variety of popular songs from the 20’s through to Abba in the 70’s. Song sheets are provided along with keyboard accompaniment.

New Members welcome!
The Fun Singing group met on Weds 21 st December to celebrate the festive season with a selection of well known Christmas carols and songs. The 25 members who attended sang with joyful enthusiasm and enjoyed a selection of mince pies, cakes & biscuits with mulled wine, tea and coffee during the break. The group, which started in September, has been well attended by a growing number of members who enjoy singing a mixture of popular songs from the 20th century.
